RJ Miles, Board Chair

Caldwell Academy

RJ serves as Caldwell's physical education teacher for 3rd through 12th grade, one of the largest Classical Christian schools in the United States. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer and holds his masters in Education/Physical Education from Averett University. In addition to serving as the Board Chair for the Piedmont Fellows, RJ is an elder at Friendly Hills Church.

Doug Gentry, Treasurer

Doug's career has been in the world of finance, with a specialty in the non-profit field. He has previously held positions in Finance for the United Way of Delaware and as CFO of Senior Resources of Guilford. In addition to serving as Treasurer for the Piedmont Fellows, Doug is a deacon at Friendly Hills Church.

Tony Casas, Pastoral Care

Corporate Chaplains of America

Tony wears many hats in Greensboro. In addition to his role as Chaplain, he is a Wise Guys Educator where he helps to fight against teenage pregnancy by addressing young men. His charasmatic personality and his dynamic public speaking gifts also aid his teaching and coaching with the John Maxwell Team. 

Dan Griffith, Consultant

Dan is an experienced leader and manager with broad-base experience in diverse business environments. He possesses excellent organizational and financial skills with proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, which serve as a huge asset to the Fellows. In addition to serving as the Treasurer, Dan is a Deacon and on the Financial Committee at Friendly Hills Church

David Henson, Admissions

Customer Service Agreement Manager,

David is a seasoned professional in the equipment industry with 14 years of experience at 2 Catepillar Dealerships in Kentucky and North Carolina. He served on a three year mission term with the North America Mission Board in Savanna, GA and has worked in the landscape industry in Florida and Tennessee. In addition to serving as the Admissions Lead, David is a Deacon at Friendly Hills Church.

Phillip Merritt, Mentors

A Paneless Perfection

Phillip served as a History teacher and wrestling coach for more than a decade before focusing full-time with APP. In addition to serving as the Mentor's lead, Phillip uses his teaching gifts to benefit Friendly Hills Church (Sunday School) and the Piedmont Fellows (Spiritual Disciplines Class) and his family also hosts the weekly Family Dinners.
